I took that picture last summer (because if you looked out at the 16 inches of snow we got last night you would know it wasn't this summer) at a local community garden. I loved the way the sunflowers looked in the afternoon light. I took the picture with a Canon Powershot A95 which is the best digital camera in the entire world (in my price range at least).
I can't wait for the skein of yarn!! As far as colors go...I think anything that reminds you of the sun would be very appropriate!
Thank you for this contest, what a great idea to help us wait out the last little bit of winter!
The Good Kharma Bunny likes all things textiley, especially if it involves yarn! She's like a swan, exuding good kharma on the outside and paddling furiously underneath, to keep up with life.
I'm a mother of two, happily married, living in Leicestershire. In between motherhood and work, I'm a budding Textile artist. I'm also a part time Archivist, curating historical photographs for a company archive.
