And then this is mine up close and personal.
Mine is made up of black welsh rovings and a purple mixed selection pack of merino.
It's not quite finished yet as the handle needs finishing, but that involves sewing, and sewing and I don't really get on.
I will finish it soon, honest. Cos I want to use it.

did you knit then felt or just felt? i really really really really want to hand felt something without the whole knitting thing first, but i am intimidated by all the water. every webpage i have read that gives instructions talks about how messy it is. is it?
*i am really silly. i just realized that spring is here (haven't gotten used to the idea yet) and i can do it outside. but i still want to know how you did it and if it was hard*
